What we will do…

When your production demands something extraordinary, you need more than a costume maker, you need a creative partner who can translate your boldest concepts into living, breathing designs. I specialize in innovative, custom-built costumes for stage, film, and performance, approaching each project as a unique creative quest. Whether you have a fully formed vision or only the spark of an idea, I shape it into something visually stunning and performance-ready.

My background in hand weaving, spinning, knitting, and dyeing allows me to craft textiles and details from the ground up, while my interests in architecture and woodworking shape the way I think about structure, movement, and the emotional impact of design. I don’t just dress performers, I build costumes that function like environments: engineered for strength, fluidity, and atmosphere.

Growing up in small-town Appalachia, I learned to value practicality and resourcefulness. That mindset continues to guide my work, ensuring that even the most imaginative designs remain believable, durable, and grounded in reality, qualities that let them shine under the rigors of stage lights or the scrutiny of the camera.

When you hire me, you’re not just commissioning a costume, you’re gaining a collaborator invested in your production’s success. I work closely with directors and production teams to ensure every piece deepens the story, transforms the atmosphere, and creates unforgettable moments that elevate the entire production.
